I want to personally welcome you to the website and our fellowship here at CCDC Metro.

It is our desire to respond to what God has begun in us by fulfilling His greatest commandment: to love Him with all of our being and to love our neighbors as our selves.  That is no easy task in today’s world, especially in this city.  But it is our firm conviction that if God calls us to the task, He will also equip us for it.  So, we look to Him for empowering, we study His Word, and we learn from each other as we grow in grace.

We are a unique church in a special city.  This fellowship is filled with people who serve in all aspects of the government, military, and private sectors and also those who serve God by pouring into their children each day at home.  We face interesting challenges at work and at home, but I believe that is possible for us, like Daniel, to excel at both our work and our Christian walk and to never lose our integrity.  The key is intimacy – regular interaction with the Father who can guide us through every decision.

We are also a very transient church; people regularly come and go due to the nature of their employers and the constantly changing political climates of this city.  Our goal is to welcome people when they come, build them up while they are here, and to send them out more in love with God and sharpened for their next ministry.
