The Philosophy of Children's Ministry at CCDC Metro  is based upon the instruction we find in Scripture pertaining to the neccesity of the home being the foundational place of spiritual nurturing, and instruction in our faith. Ephesians 6:1-4 says, "Children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother (this is the first commandment with a promise), that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land. Fathers do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." 

Our desire as a fellowship, is to be an encouragement both to the children and to their parents as they disciple their kids in the things of God. Jesus said, "Let the little children come unto me and forbid them not, for such is the kingdom of heaven." Our prayer is that your children will grow in their understanding of who God is, and of His love which was demonstrated in the cross of Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will empower and enable us to faithfully impart the truth of God's Word each every Sunday morning.

We believe in the family worshipping together in song on each Sunday morning. Therefore, the children remain with their parents during the singing portion of the service. If you would like your children to remain with you during the service, we wholeheartedly welcome that!

The children's classes meet according to the following age groups:

       **Nursing Mothers Room is now available: The service is broadcast into the room.

• Infants and toddlers
• Pre-school - 3rd grade (There is a new 4-5 year old class coming soon)
• 4th - 6th grade
• Junior High
