Children's Ministry  

At CCDC Metro we believe that every child's first, and best, Sunday School teachers are their own parents, in their own home:

"Children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother (this is the first commandment with a promise), that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land. Fathers do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."  Ephesians 6:1-4

As a fellowship, it is our privilege to come alongside and support you in this ministry!

We pray that our Children's Ministry will help your children grow in their understanding of who God is, and of His love which was demonstrated in the cross of Jesus Christ.

We believe in the importance of families worshipping together and welcome children in the sanctuary while we sing on Sunday mornings. Children from infancy through 3 years old also have the option of going to their classroom for children's worship during this time. Children age four through grade 6 are released to their classrooms after worship.

Classes meet according to the following age groups:

* Infants and toddlers (up to age 3)
* Pre-school (age 4-5)
* 1st - 3rd grade
* 4th - 6th grade

Young adults from grades 7 - 12 stay with their parents in the sanctuary for the service.

A Nursing Mothers room is also available with the service broadcasted into the room.
